WHO IS THE ENEMY???

Recently a man driving a car was seen throwing a dump of plastic waste materials from his car and drove off. The same man was seen complaining that there is so much distraction on the climate and we were left wondering now who is the one to take care of the environment. The beauty of the environment is kept by we who lives in it. The changes of climate occuring is a reflection of the harm we are causing on ourselves by failing to care.

The environment is the next friend we have . Everything that that sorrounds us humans is our responsibility for we are the one to be in charge and take care of it.
If things are not running the same way again it means that we have made it the way it is. More frequent intense drought, storms, heat waves , rising sea levels, melting glaciers and warming oceans can directly harm animals, destroy the places they live, and wreak havoc on people's livelihoods and communities. As becoming severe.

For example in Kenya, low- lying coastline and sorrounding island are at a risk from rise from sea level, with significant implications for the fisheries sector and storm surge protection. Agriculture is the leading source of green house gas emissions in the country, largely driven by enteric fermentation from livestock.
The ten negative effects of improper waste disposal.

These are:- Soil contamination.
                  - Air contamination.
                  - Water contamination .
                  - Bad impact on human health.
                  - Impact on animals and marine life.
                  - Disease - carrying pests.
                  - Adversely affect the local economy.
                 - Missed recycling opportunities.

According to the 5 R's, four actions should be taken, if possible, prior to 'recycling': refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose, and then recycle.
Kenya has been on the fight to manage waste to prevent all this climatic hazards. Planting trees, dumping waste properly, using right chemicals on agriculture is our responsibility. What is done for proper waste management in Kenya:
Waste management controlling, monitoring and regulation of the production, collection, transportation, treatment and disposal of waste and prevention of waste production through in- process modification, re-use and recycling.
We are the ones to make our environment beautiful by making our sorrounding look good .

" We are the enemies of our own!! No one is here to blame , for everyone should take a step of making the environment condusive for that's our responsibility".
